My Guitar Is Now At Auditorium Shores

I got the news from Gibson last week that my 10' guitar sculpture has found a home along the southern bank of Town Lake at Auditorium Shores. In addition to being along the shoreline, it is also adjacent to Austin's famous hike and bike trail. Some of you may be familiar with this location, for those of you that are not, Auditorium Shores is downtown on the south side of Town Lake, directly across the lake from City Hall. The entrance to the parking lot for this park and the hike and bike trail is just west of the the South First St. bridge on Riverside Drive.

This location is where I took many of my source photos that assisted me when I designed the painting for the guitar. It is a great opportunity to have my work in a place that many people will get to see it up close as they walk and jog by. There is not a more "public space" than this one in Austin. A map of the locations of all of the guitar sculptures will be available soon. I will post a link to it when it is made available.
